A Few Comments on Activity - Focus on PPT

DuPont has elected to separate its Polyester,Nylon and Spandex fiber businesses and form a separate company. This will include PPT, We also hear they are having trouble running the PPT in a converted PET plant - doesn't surprise us.

Shell has ended its plan to build a PPT in Mexico and decided to build the plant in Canada with local funding. It does not appear that Shell wants to be in the PPT business, but with a large PDO plant, it needs a market.
