Here's Joan and Jay Bridges, "playing" but this time at Mount Rushmore with Steve Platt and Judy Menchek.  The "Black Hills" Photo is a little blurry . . . must be the martinis, eh?

Here's Gary Gorman and Patti "Cleo" Aitken    at the September 2012 Luau, and still going strong!
Pharo GARY, MMX, with "Cleo" at his side

In January 2012, Gary and "Cleo" visited Tom and Jackie Horner.  These were taken at a dinner theater.

Here's Doug Krotz with his family visiting his daughter, Katie, in Haifa Israel.  She is half way through a five year stint working in the office of the Secretariat of the world head quarters of the Baha'i Faith on Mt. Carmel, the grounds of which are shown below.  What a beautiful place!

Check out this cool video on Israel

Thought we had lost him but Laird Eickmeyer showed up with my 1st cousin (once removed), Greg Moeller and his wife, Karleen (not shown), in Carmel, California when on their wedding anniversary . . . what a find, eh?   Looks like they're having a great time talking about old Lafayette tales.  Maybe we'll see Laird at the 60th!

The famous world travelers, Helen and Keith (Willard) Takahashi emerge again.  Keith said just now am "making the adjustment from "sea legs" to walking on terra firma.   Well, our marriage survived a 75-day cruise.  We left Seattle, crossed the Aleutians and received a late night jostle at sea from an earthquake that measured 6.4 magnitude on the Richter scale.  The voyage began in Seattle and took us to Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa, the Hawaiian Islands, and San Diego.  Here are a couple of images taken at a Koala sanctury outside Sydney, Australia. The cute guy in the tree is a Koala. Next, I'm spending quality time with a Barking Owl."

Here's Pat Bacon Brothen and husband of 56 years, Bill.  She hasn't aged a bit since our class together when juniors at Acalanes.  Here,  Pat and Bill are in Slovakia on a two week Viking Grand European Cruise and having a lot of fun.  Who's on the horse?

A recent picture from Marlowe Boyd's booth at the Walnut Creek Art and Wine Festival.  "I do the photography and my neighbor, the painting.  I sold quite a bit even in the 98 degree heat!"  Beautiful work Marlowe.  You join other fine Acalanes artists . . . namely Fay Cady, Noel Williams, and Pat Bacon.
