3/26/20 - John was moved from Santa Rosa to a home in Walnut Creek in January of this year. He is on that road from board and care to palliative care to hospice to Memory Gardens. He has rapidly advancing Parkinson’s disease, along with two pages of other ailments that Jerry (Gil) Gillivan, '58, won’t bore you with now. He is pretty much wheelchair bound. He’s had a pretty rough road to travel in the last couple of years, but he remains cheerful and keeps up with the Outside World. For once, the Asperger’s helps him. Who knew??? Jerry is going to hang out the 65th Reunion as a target for him to hit. Jerry doesn't think he'll make it, but if you have a goal, who knows what will happen? He just may surprise us all…..But, John passed away on July 14, 2020.
